Women Empowerment Cell

KR Technical College is keen to promote women empowerment cell for female students and staff for this reason the IQAC of the college has proposed the formation of this women empowerments cell in the college.

The cells mission is to promote the development, advancement of the impression that our college campus is a staff sanctuary and a second home through guest lecturers seminar, workshop numerous awareness campaigns and other welfare initiatives the cell work tirelessly to improve their situation and ultimately empower them.

Vision:

To educate and train women to acquire wide range of skills and knowledge and to develop and increase their social, economic and intellectual capacities for peace.

Objective:

  • To impart knowledge on legal rights social responsibilities and health of women.
  • To assist female students in reaching their full academic professional and personal potential through academic and intellectual development and self-empowerment.
  • To assist and motivate them to pursue further higher education opportunities.
  • To cultivate female students self confidence through guest lectures and seminars.
  • To run awareness raising activities and programmes for under privileged women in communities.

Outcome:

  • The knowledge of legal rights and social responsibility will reach to women.
  • Female students will get assistance through academic and intellectual development.
  • Female students will get motivated to pursue higher education.
  • Self confidence of female students will get cultivated.
  • Under privilege women in community will get aware by attending awareness activities.
